The Band – Our Story

Schiehallion have been playing music across Scotland and further afield for the past 35 plus years. The band’s founding member Kenny Jamieson started his musical journey in Dumbarton. After travelling to gigs around Scotland he then moved up to the Highland capital Inverness where the band is now based. Stuart MacKintosh joined the band in 2004 and has been the main accordion player since. Kenny and Stuart are the main duo who gig around the country but they are also joined on occasion by Bagpipe player Callum MacGillivray who joined the band in 2008.
